Storytelling Sessions are for families who are fiercely in love with their children and want photos that feel as alive as the life they’re actually living.

A record that shows how they blaze with hope, feast on wonder, and find beauty in the smallest of things. How you love them in hundreds of ordinary moments, every day. How your home feels, full of soul and stories. The depth of your connection on a regular day when you are all simply being yourselves.
A record that, years from now, will make them cry because they’ll be able to feel how it felt to be seven again.
Most families have thousands of photos.
You photograph the milestones — the birthday cakes, the first days of school, the dance performances — the moments you’re supposed to record.
But, the heart of your story lives in the ordinary moments. The ones that feel too small to photograph, and years from now will feel like everything.
The look your toddler throws when you give them broccoli again. Your five year old “helping” to make Sunday morning pancakes in pajamas. Snuggles with your two year old as you read The Little Blue Truck for the hundredth time. Your dining room table, full of half-finished art projects and homework.
These are glimpses of the story your children will tell themselves about who they are and where they came from.

When I arrive at your door, your kids may be shy to begin with (and honestly, so might you), but that quickly falls away when you focus on connecting with each other and realize there’s no pressure to perform.
I’ll be a warm, quiet presence in your family, noticing moments and finding beautiful light. You’ll get to slow down and enjoy time together.
Maybe you play dress up, have a kitchen dance party, or walk to your neighbourhood park. We can document a daily routine like dinner and bedtime so you can see fleeting beauty in these long hours.
The session usually ends with a child’s “I don’t want you to leave.” More than once I’ve been asked back for play dates.
In less than a month you’ll receive your photos from the session. You’ll get to keep all of them.
There may be tears of joy.
You’ll get access to a print shop through your gallery where you can print your favourites for yourselves or for grandma, or make a book that will be sure to become your kids’ favourite bedtime story.
